Saves the current version of the document on the disk you’re working on, replacing any existing version that has the same name.
The first time you save an untitled document, you’ll be asked to name it. After that, the document is always saved with the same name on the same disk.

Lets you save a document on a disk other than the one currently in use or save a document under a different name (on the same disk or on another one).
Use Save As when you want to make a backup copy of a document or when you want to keep both the original version and a version with changes.
If you click Stationery at the bottom of the dialog box, the document is saved as a template document.
